Mahogany, teak, gmelina & tulipwood — solid hardwood by species
As a mahogany furniture manufacturer working from local Philippine hardwood, Giardini Del Sole also produces in teak, gmelina and tulipwood — species selected for their fit with tropical and hospitality-grade use. As a teak furniture manufacturer in the Philippines, we work with teak's natural oil content and pest resistance for pieces destined for higher-humidity or higher-use environments.
Every species we produce in is kiln-dried in-house before production, and phytosanitary certification is prepared per shipment on request. Additional hardwood species can be sourced to order — confirm current availability with the factory.
Frequently asked questions
What hardwood species do you regularly work with?
Local species (mahogany, gmelina, teak, tulipwood) are sourced within the Philippines and kiln-dried and finished in-house. Additional hardwood species can be sourced to order — confirm current availability with the factory.
Is teak furniture available for outdoor-adjacent hospitality use?
Teak's natural oil content makes it well suited to covered outdoor and semi-outdoor hospitality settings; finish options for outdoor-adjacent use are confirmed per project with the export team.
Can I request a specific wood species not listed here?
Contact our export team — additional species can often be sourced per project depending on availability and order volume.
Is kiln-drying standard on all orders?
Yes — every species is kiln-dried at the mill before production to control moisture content and reduce warping risk in transit and in-market.
